On August 23, 2025, the 5th International Conference on Intelligent Traffic Systems and Smart City (ITSSC 2025), jointly organized by Chongqing Jiaotong University and Chongqing University, was successfully held at the Nan'an Campus of Chongqing Jiaotong University. The conference brought together well-known experts and scholars from both domestic and international communities in the fields of intelligent traffic systems and smart city. They engaged in in-depth discussions and exchanges focusing on the latest research achievements and technological developments, further promoting close interaction between academia and industry. |

At the beginning of the conference, Prof. Zhaowei Chen, Deputy Director of the Science and Technology Department of Chongqing Jiaotong University, delivered the opening remarks, extending sincere greetings to both online and offline participants. He stated that the rapid development of intelligent traffic systems and smart cities is driving innovation in related disciplines as well as the transformation and upgrading of industries.
